PUBG Mobile Will Not be Played Anymore in India
The company has posted the same message on the game’s community forum also. The game was banned in India by the Government along with other 117 Chinese apps. All Chinese apps were banned for security reasons.
Recently, PUBG posted a post on LinkedIn for hiring corporate development Division Manager. With this post, all of them speculated that the game could return to India. But as per the latest reports, now we are sure that the game might not return to India.
On Facebook, PUBG Mobile announced about shutting the services. The post reads,
“Dear Fans, To comply with the interim order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology dated September 2, 2020, Tencent Games will terminate all service and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite (together, “PUBG Mobile”) on October 30, 2020. The rights to publish PUBG MOBILE in India will be returned to the owner of the PUBG intellectual property.”
The game was already removed from Indian Google Play Store and Apple iOS App Store. But who already had the game installed on their devices could play games as the game servers were available. However, now the servers will be removed from India, so no one will be able to play PUBG anymore.
Here is the Facebook Post:
On the Facebook page, Tencent wrote,

All users’ gameplay information is processed in a transparent manner as disclosed in our privacy policy. We deeply regret this outcome, and sincerely thank you for your support and love for PUBG MOBILE in India.”
After the game was banned, PUBG corp. took away all the rights from Tencent, which is a Chinese company.
The first time, India banned 58 Chinese apps in which there was a popular video creating app TikTok. The app was first removed from the stores, and then the networks were blocked.
