Apart from this, Whatsapp is working on a couple of features disappearing images, a new interface for Archived chats, and Password-Protected chat backup. The disappearing images feature will destruct the images after a period of time that is pre-set for both sender and receiver. This feature is similar to Instagram Direct stories, where the image or a video gets disappears.
The new Interface for Archived chats will appear only if you have any chats in the archive section. The reports say, if you have achieved chats, the cell will always be pinned to the top.
The Password-protected chat backup feature will be soon out for both Android and iOS devices. To protect the chat backup, the user needs to enter eight characters long password. The feature was in work from last year, and now the screenshots of it are presented for iOS and Android apps.
