A YouTube video published by the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 shows the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now, this is good news for all the PS4 and Xbox One players who were worried about the game will run well on the last-gen consoles or not.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update: Check Gameplay on PS4, PS5, & Xbox Consoles
Cyberpunk 2077 was going to release in the month of April 2020, but in January, the developers announced the delay of the game to September. Later in June, the game was again delayed to November because it required some more time to complete. And now, finally, the game is all set to release in December 2020.
As the game is just a few weeks away, the CD Projekt Red has shown the game. As per the reports, the delay of the game was done due to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. The CEO, Adam Kicinski, said the PC version of the game is ready and works well on next-gen consoles. However, the company is checking the process of the game in the current-gen consoles.
Adam Kicinski said the delay would be better for the product. He said,
“The decision was not easy but we know there is just one release and the first impression is crucial.”
A YouTube video published by CD Projekt Red showed the footage of the game running on the consoles. It shows the gameplay between Xbox One X and Xbox Series X, which is running via backward compatibility feature.
The latest video shows the gameplay on PlayStation 4 Pro, which is then followed by PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
